NSW Trade and Investment have announced changes to its system for Skilled Nomination migration – Subclass 190.

Due to the popularity of NSW as a destination for migrants and the difficulties encountered with the previous system.

NSW Trade and Investment have moved to a selection-based invitation process, as used by other states and territories.

From February 2015 prospective candidates will be chosen from the SkillSelect system and invited to apply for NSW nomination.

Further information on the new system is available on the NSW Trade and Investment website.

Applicants with current EOI’s do not need to lodge a new EOI unless the previous application has received an invitation. The SkillSelect system locks access to applications once they receive an offer.
